There may be many misunderstandings regarding what the signs of pregnancy are and what are not to be considered the reliable signs of pregnancy.
Some of the most common signs of pregnancy are headache, missed periods, lower back ache, darkening of areolas, fatigue, food cravings, etc.
Some other signs may be nausea, swollen breasts, increased urination, etc. Through these signs, a female can easily assess that she is pregnant and can now proceed to a much more reliable test known as a Pregnancy Test.
When a woman is pregnant the body of the female starts to produce a hormone called “chorionic gonadotropin (HCG).” The special characteristics of this hormone are that it is detected in the blood and urine of the female about ten days after the start of the fertilization process.
Home remedy pregnancy tests are tests that may be carried out at home using only natural things and without any specific medical instruments that can be carried out to verify pregnancy.
One of the most famous types of pregnancy test is the Toothpaste Test. Yes! Toothpaste, which is the same substance that we are using to clean our teeth every day. A test is carried out simply by collecting the urine of the presently expected pregnant female in a clean container. Then a little toothpaste is added to the urine and left for some time. After some time, it is checked. If the toothpaste turns blue in color or it has a frothy (bubbles have formed around the toothpaste) look then indicates that the female is pregnant.
The easiest and the quickest diagnosis that confirms is the “Bleach Indicator Test”. It is a very famous DIY (Do It Yourself) Test for female pregnancy testing and without any complicated procedures. Firstly, collect the first discharged urine of the day in a container. Then add some bleaching powder into the collected urine and then observe the liquid carefully. If the liquid starts to Fizz or give foam, then it is confirmed by this test that the female is pregnant. If the liquid remains unchanged, then there is no pregnancy expected of the female.
Soap is a common everyday household need item for health a
nd hygiene purpose. The reliability of this test is not tested, but it is famous for homemade remedy pregnancy testing. The procedure starts with collecting some fresh urine that is the first discharge of early morning in a small container or test tube. Then some soap lather is added to the urine and upon close examination, if there are bubbles formed in the solution then you are more likely to be pregnant. But this result has not been very favorable for many individuals and therefore is unreliable to an extent.
So how do we do it? Starting with obtaining some dandelion leaves from the stem of the plant and putting them on a sheet of plastic that is placed on the floor. Caution: Make sure that the leaves are not facing the sun. Then the female needs to urinate on the leave, completely soaking the leaves in the urine. Then after a time span of 10 minutes the leaves are to be checked. If there are reddish colored blisters on the leaves, then the test indicates confirmation of pregnancy.
Sugar is the main key reagent for the test. Take a bowl and put 4-5 spoons full of sugar into it. Then the first discharge of urine in the morning is added to the bowl or if the female intends to urinate directly on the sugar that will also do the job. After the urine is added to the sugar from any single way from above mentioned, it is then observed that is the sugar forms clumps. Clumps will indicate that the female is pregnant. If sugar simply dissolves then the test is negative.
- Vinegar and Tuna Juice Pregnancy Test
Vinegar and Tuna juice are used in food items, and they are also a reagent used in home remedies for pregnancy testing. Surprising isn’t it? So here is how we conduct the test, first obtain some vinegar and tuna juice from the shop or if it is present at home then it can also be used. First urination discharged in the morning is collected for use in the test.
Then this urine needs to be added to a cup that contains vinegar and the tuna juice solution (approximately ¼ cup). The urine and vinegar are mixed, then the female needs carefully to monitor the change of color in the vinegar. Any fizzling in the liquid during the addition of the urine to the solution is also a sign of confirmation of pregnancy in women.
Many women have tried this home remedy for this test, and they say that this is accurate. Collect some urine in a clear plastic container and leave it untouched for 3-4 hours. If the urine forms a thin white film or bubbles at the top of the liquid, then you are pregnant, and if the solution remains clear then you are not pregnant.
- Peroxide and Tylenol Test
When you get up in the morning to collect the first discharged urine in some container. Then add these substances (peroxide and Tylenol) to the urine. If the color changes to blue, then the test is positive, and if the color remains unchanged, then it is confirmed that the test result if negative.
This test dates back to the ancient times to around 1400s. A woman would put a latch in the container and then pee on the latch, leaving the latch submerged in the urine. Then an agonizing 3 hours wait till the result could be obtained. After 3 hours, she would remove the latch from the container. If the latch leaves an imprint at the bottom, then the result is positive and if there is no print then result is negative.
During the medieval times, women would collect their urine in a jar and mix some wine in the urine. If the color remained unchanged, then the result was negative but if the color changed, then it was a sign of confirmation that you are pregnant.
