5 Home Remedies to Remove Any Type of Skin Spot from Your Face

Our skin is the first thing people notice about us, so we should take a proper care of it. Make sure you address the issue immediately as soon as you see a new blackhead, acne, age spots, skin tag, or a mole. All of these affect the top-most skin layer, or the epidermis.

However, instead of the commercial skin care products which are loaded with chemicals, try treating the issue naturally first.

On the other hand, laser treatments for removing moles and skin tags are very expensive, and other treatments for treating warts and age spots, like cryotherapy and hydroquinone, use various hazardous chemicals.

Therefore, these are the most effective natural ways to treat skin imperfections:

Warts are caused by a type of HPV virus, but garlic is an excellent remedy for them.  Just crush a clove, and spread it on the wart. Secure it with a bandage, leave it to act for half an hour, and wash it off. Repeat once or twice daily until the wart falls off.

  1. Moles: Baking Soda and Castor Oil

Moles are most often a result of sun exposure, and most of them form during childhood. Baking soda is an effective natural bleacher, and if you mix it with castor oil, you will get a great natural mole removal paste.

Just mix a pinch of baking soda and a few drops of castor oil, and apply the paste on the moles. After a while, rinse it off. Repeat daily. Note that you need to immediately see a dermatologist your mole changes its size or color, as it might be a sign of melanoma or skin cancer.

  1. Age Spots: Lemon-Strawberry Mask

Age spots, or liver spots, are a result of sun exposure and are in fact a type of photodamage caused by UV rays. To lighten them, mash two or three strawberries, and add drops of freshly-squeezed lemon juice.

Stir the mask, and apply it on the age spots. After 5 minutes, wash it off. Lemons and strawberries are high in vitamin C which reverses hyperpigmentation.

Skin tags are more common in older people, and even though they are harmless, they look unattractive, and people often try to get rid of them. To do so, use tea tree oil in the following way:

Soak a cotton ball in some water, add a few drops of the oil, and massage the area gently in circular motions. Repeat twice daily.

  1. Blackheads: Oatmeal-Green Tea Mask

Blackheads are a result of excessive amounts of skin oil, which clogs the pores, and they turn black due to oxygen. To get rid of them, use a combination of green tea and oatmeal.

Green tea has powerful antibacterial properties which lead to acne and lightens pigmentation. Prepare a cup of this tea, add a tablespoon of oats, and prepare a paste.  Then apply the paste on the blackheads, and leave it to act for 10 minutes. Then, rinse, and pat the skin dry.
