Just One Look At Your Neck Can Reveal Whether You Suffer From Something Minor Like Bacteria, Or Even Cancer!

Lymph nodes

are small bean-shaped glands that filter lymph, the fluid that circulates through the lymphatic system. They are a vital part of our immune system because they help our body fight infections and diseases. Lymph nodes are located throughout the body, and normally they aren’t palpable or painful. But, once they become enlarged or swollen, they can indicate a number of health issues.

Swollen lymph nodes in the neck area can signalize minor infections such as colds, or serious conditions like inflammation or cancer.

Enlarged lymph nodes can have different dimension ranging from pea-sized to cherry-sized. In fact, they can have less than a centimeter in diameter. Have in mind that swollen lymph nodes don’t necessarily indicate a serious health issue, but once they swell, you will start to feel them.

Even if you don’t feel any pain, swollen lymph nodes require immediate medical attention to exclude the possibility of something more serious, such as cancer.

In case, your lymph nodes have swollen because of a common infection, you can treat them on your own. For one thing, garlic is one of the most beneficial foods in terms of anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. This vegetable can fight infection and strengthen your immune system. Garlic also reduces swelling due to its strong anti-inflammatory properties.
